i have a bunch of these yoyos. i love this yoyo because of the gap and the way it plays on the string. it has these friction stickers for yoyoing but if u run out, use tub tread and sand the treads down with sandpaper. the yoyo is meant for freehand skills but it can be used for offstring and regular yoyoing. i especially like to use it for regular yoyoing. GET THIS YOYO! its only like $13. its cheap. its perfect. i believe this is one of duncans best yoyoes. it had very good sleep times, godly like on the string ( to me that is) and is really good for offstring and freehand skills. take out one of the friction stickers when u first get it and put it somewhere safe. u'll need it later. now get ready to YO!!!!

Supplies:
bench sander
file or very corse snadpaper
two freehand shells
two bee spacers
one playing card
one paper punch
one freehand bearing
one freehand axle
one freehand bolt
two washers (they are about 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall...they fit in the freehand pretty good
krazy glue
black fingernail polish
one frictiondisk
one kinife
flat head screw driver
hammer

Directions:
1. first things first unscrew the yoyo and take out the guts.now pop out the caps using a flat head screw driver and hammer

2.take out the bolt and axle careflully and plug in the bench sander.

3. u see the ridge? its like a second ring.. u need to sand the yoyo all the way down to that. start the sander on and start sanding!

4. u'll notice that the some of the plastic is starting to melt.. make sure u complete the sanding till u take the melted plastic off.. now when your done take off the heated plastic with a exatco knife or cutting knife or something

5. u should now have some shells pf the freehand.. the yoyo will be small now.. hehe...

6. u have to make sure its flat.. so get some sandpaper out and start to sand down with it.. its ok if u don't exaclty get it but it makes the yoyo look better.

7. onece your done start to glue the washers on the freehand with krazy glue.. then when thatd dried up get the black nail polish and color the rims black.. it makes it look cool...

8.let that dry off..now get your playing card and cut some shims out the same size as the bee spacers... now use the paper punch to punch out a hole.. now stick one one each spacer hole.. then put the spacers in,the bearing, and everything else and screw together and yo!
