Reviews reviewed by Chris Garner When i first got this yoyo, i thought it was a dream on the string. It was very smooth on the string and i got good sleepers. But after a while i noticed it became unresponsive like the gade's. just oils the beaing to cure that.(many will tell you the starbursts are wearing out,but thats not true) I love the shape b/c if you need on a string that seems hidden behind others it will slice them apart and slide onto the right string easier. however the sharp edges hurt when they start hitting your knuckles(ouch). Now that i have gotten better yoyos i dont use it much. i would call it a good yoyo to carry around. I think the Profire is just as good and it is 10 bucks cheaper. I also think yomega's are way overpriced. Tip Whenever it gets to be unresponsive, try putting lube on the back of the spacer (just a little trick, not really a mod) I dont know how to add weight b/c the hub is one big glued-in chunk. Tools:
saber raider drill silicone What to do: 1.unscrew the yo-yo 2.drill two small holes through each cap 3.fill each side completely with silicone making sure there's no bubbles 4.let it sit for 1-2 days 5.screw it back together and you have a great yo-yo for string tricks It might not return very well because it is heavier, but you can lube it and it should be fine mod by yoyogrvs
Tools: 3m Durapore tape saber raider What to do: You take some 3m durapore tape and put that onthe inside of the yo-yo around the bearings. This will add responsivness without taking away string trick ability. If you want more responsivness you can put the tape on both sides. |
