This is an absoulutely must have for all yoyo-ers who even think about going into offsring or freehand b/c if you drop the yoyo on the ground it doesnt harm it. The viper is great b/c you can bounce it off the wall,your head, or the floor. It doesnt spin as long as other yoyo's on/off the string but its worth not busting a different yoyo by far. it seems to perform well onstring also, i can easily do crossovers with it. The only problem is that it runs out of spin rather quickly onstring. reviewed by extremeyo Great yo yo. I can land anything with this yo yo,Double or nothing ,triple or nothing.anything.this yo yo also doesn't injure you if it hits you.there was one time when my string was about to break and I figured that I could do one more around the world. That was a big mistake. the yo yo went flying about 7 feet away and about 6 feet in the air.It hit the ground and rolled back to me.There wasn't even a scratch on it or anything.it's an ok looper. Mods reviewed by Schalicto first, lube the bearing with 3 in 1 oil, then put two metal shims on each side of the bearing. Now you take super glue and put a ring of small dots of super glue around the inside of the hub near the center. Put back together, remember to put in the metal shim spacer for the string gap. Apply slick 6, lube generiously single loop and enjoy. Tips tip by Schalicto If you are unsure about dyeing viper shells read. Just to let you know you can dye light shade shells using pretty much any color rit die. Heat the die in a microwave or something then put the shells in for about five or ten minutes. For added coolness put vinager in with the die, that will separate it out and create a really freakin cool effect. Word to Your Mother! tip by Dan Ickler(zamstrom) this is very easy. u need to have 2 rings of the ssf. now stick them in the viper shells. when u yoyo it will be a lot heavier. i never yoyoed with is yoyo in regular play, i usualy did offstring. if it hits the ground it will bounce away a lot quicker and farther. it sleeps very good for offstring play but can return sometimes not right. try this litle mod and see what happens tip by Dan Ickler(zamstrom) when u do offstring with this yoyo or any other yoyo make sure u have the on both your index and middle fingers..if you plan on throwing it in the air, trust me it works A LOT better... also do not have the gap narrow for the viper when doing offstring cause it will not work right
